Family Advisor
Product Description
Family Advisor Management Edition is of great value to the funeral director because it helps increase profit per call, decrease overhead costs and increases family comfort and satisfaction. The software improves day-to-day operations in the funeral home by making it easy to print forms, keep accounting records, and even print custom pages for various stationery items. All of these integrated features help the funeral director save time on administrative tasks and focus on the family. Even more importantly, it helps family members learn more about service and merchandise options and therefore make better selections in a more comfortable setting. Baby boomers and their children are more and more computer literate, feel comfortable making choices from a computer screen, have less patience with completing piles of paperwork, and feel less comfortable with entering a traditional selection room. It is important that funeral directors stay on top of this changing trend by actively incorporating technology into their businesses, and Family Advisor Management Edition makes that process a simple and effective one by providing a solution that covers every aspect of a funeral home’s duties.

Typically this is due to a firewall turned on for that machine or the internet connection is down.
- The first place to look is the windows firewall in the control panel. If this is on then shut them off & try the update again.
- This can also be cause by an internet security program (Norton, McAfee, etc). Just disable the security program for 15 min which should allow the update to run. You may have to disable the actual firewall in one of these programs.
- Check the connection on a different machine to see if it just the one machine or the whole connection is down.
